Which one is the best android smartwatch ?

The wearables market is very hot and after a series of devices, the manufacturers seem to finally getting it right. Google, at its I/O conference this week, officially opened the platform for developers with a launch of three devices in its keynote. Two of them, Samsung Gear Live and LG G watch are available immediately and would be listed on Google play store, the much awaited Moto 360 isn’t quite ready yet and will be available later this summer.

As of the design, LG and Samsung have opted for a square screen which has been a norm for the smartwatches  so far while Moto 360 is more of a conventional one with a circular design. The Android wear platform is said to have many design elements incorporated form the next major release of Android L so that they are more contextually aware to present the right information at the right time. This also helps to present a seamless experience between the mobile devices and watch itself.

If you haven’t been hiding in a cave at a far corner of the world, you might already know that voice is the new input medium for modern communication devices. So don’t be surprised when you hear lot of folks around you calling “Ok Google”, the key phrase to start any command to the device.

Apple has been long rumored to launch its own version of a wearable device.
But the tech giant is known to keep its products under the radar until they are ready to hit the market. So there is no word from the company about the much anticipated, iWatch.

Personally, I would go for Moto 360 as it offers a round watch face, something I adore a lot. The build quality and the two different versions make it an easy choice for anyone looking for a conventional watch with a technology element inside. Having said that, LG and Samsung have also done a wonderful job and with immediate availability, they can serve the eager early adopters very well.

How about you? Would you shell out some dollars and buy one of these or would you rather hold your breath for what apple has in the bag? Please share your thoughts in the comments below.
